Royal Family LIVE: Prince Harry’s ‘six month plan’ as Meghan Markle fears laid bare

Meghan will ‘control’ any royal return for Harry says Levin
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could be coming back to the UK as part-time royals with a “six-month” plan as the duchess fears the public losing interest in their brand, a royal expert has claimed.

he Duke and Duchess of Sussex sensationally quit the Royal Family and moved to the States back in 2020 due to their ongoing row with the Firm, with one of the reasons being they wouldn’t be able to carry on their royal duties part-time.

The late Queen Elizabeth was said to be adamant about a “half in, half out” arrangement for the Sussex coupe, however, it’s been hoped King Charles would take a less strict view.

Royal author Tom Quinn told The Mirror: “Meghan and Harry had always hoped that when Queen Elizabeth died, Charles would take a less strict view of what it means to be a working Royal. Six months in the UK as a working Royal followed by six months in the States would bolster brand Sussex which is less and less interesting without the working Royal angle.

“The American public would have much preferred it if Harry had not given up his Royal role – that’s all he’s ever been trained for and that’s the main thing that made him interesting. Now he’s lost that, why should anyone in the States be interested – and Meghan hates the idea that she might be pulled down by this.”

However, it’s long been reported that King Charles is less than pleased with Harry and Meghan’s decision to keep their royal titles despite stepping down as full-time working royals, and it’s also well documented that he is in favour of a slimmed-down monarchy. At this point, any royal return for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex looks less than likely.

Prince William makes statement at Earthshot Prize event after Princess Kate photo row
Prince William spoke in central London yesterday at an Earthshot Prize event, hours after Princess Kate issued an apology over editing a picture released to celebrate Mother’s Day.

The Prince of Wales was joined by supporters of the Earthshot Prize Launchpad, a new platform aimed at helping develop and make potential climate change solutions a reality.

Speaking at the event William hailed this latest innovation, saying: “When I first started thinking about how I might contribute to the collective global effort to protect our planet in 2018, I knew that I wanted to mobilize the enormous power of innovators, wherever they are in the world.

“From businesses, cities and governments; to activists, scientists and innovators, the ideas and ambition to set our planet on a healthier path do already exist.

“But this is urgent. We are in the critical decade right now. And that is why, to have real impact, we must focus on supporting and developing as many solutions as possible and scale them at speed.”

Footage of the Sussexes walking through the airport has been shared social media. The images show them from behind as they walk through the airport.

Meghan Markle makes ‘unexpected’ admission as she attempts not to ‘alienate’ public
EXCLUSIVE: Meghan Markle recently took part in a panel about women in media and entertainment and her words were powerful, says one royal expert.

Daily Express US spoke to Pauline Maclaran, a professor at Royal Holloway, who said of the SXSW event, “I think this panel was a very good fit for Meghan and she seemed comfortable in her role.”

Meghan’s charity Archewell Foundation sponsored the event, which resulted in some criticism, that Meghan was invited as a guest speaker, when in fact she was the host, it’s being said.

Invited guest or not, Maclaran believes Meghan used her time on stage “wisely” talking about her work at Archewell and sharing her personal experiences with social media and how it can be cruel.

What really happened in Princess Kate picture saga as royal insider explains all
Princess Kate’s Mother’s Day photoshop fiasco was simply the result of the future Queen making “minor adjustments” to the picture, one royal expert said as a friend of the Princess of Wales said she “would likely be upset” by the unintended drama.

Speaking to the Mirror, one friend of Kate said the picture saga “would likely be upset by the furore caused by what was supposed to be an innocent family photograph”.

Closer inspection of the picture confirmed there were many details that did not make sense, including Charlotte’s jumper sleeve and skirt not aligning properly, blurriness around the pattern of other clothing and Kate’s zip being too far to one side.

Analysis of the picture’s metadata also revealed that the Photoshop tool had been used, with some experts questioning whether AI had been involved.
